In Hangberg, a desperately poor slum in South Africa, that is a cesspool of crime, drugs and criminal gangs, a mother and her seven beautiful puppies desperately need our help.

Poor Shelley and her puppies were dumped by a callous owner who didn’t care if they lived or died. Our team rescued them.

Please help us feed, treat and care for the seven precious pups and their hungry mother.

NFA has made huge progress in Hangberg, feeding and medically treating street dogs and educating youngsters about kindness to animals. So far, we have managed to help more than 600 street dogs.

But there is still so much to do. The people of Hangberg are mostly unemployed, uneducated and poor. They don’t know how to look after dogs so when things get tough their “solution” is to dump the animals.

An hour after we rescued Shelley and her family, we rescued five more dogs, who needed urgent medical treatment for mange and fleas. All the dogs in Hangberg depend on help from animal lovers like you because without that help, there’s nothing but heartbreak and death in their future.

We desperately need your help to care can for Shelley and her puppies and the five new dogs we rescued.

An important priority is a spay and neuter program, so we can continue with our efforts to reduce the street dog population. And we need to find money to feed them all. If you possibly can, give generously to Network for Animals today and give Shelley and her seven pups a second chance of life and help feed so many other dogs that so badly need your kindness.

For the animals,
