Our team received an URGENT call for help from a shelter in Spain in terrible financial trouble. The haven, Refugio SVPAP in Valencia, is home to 270 abandoned dogs and cats. It is staffed by 11 unpaid, passionate volunteers and receives absolutely no government funding.

Twice before, the shelter almost closed due to lack of funds - once during COVID and again recently, due to a massive dip in donations and substantial vet bills. If this shelter closed, the consequences for the animals would be unthinkable - all the animals would be euthanized.

WE CANNOT LET THIS HAPPEN!

Please help us save the shelter and animals.

A cat with a terrible infection is now receiving treatment and care at Refugio SVPAP.

Many of the dogs and cats living at the shelter are abandoned; there is nowhere else for them to go.

Dogs like Love…

Poor Love was abused by humans and then callously dumped at the shelter, clearly traumatized as she cowered in fear in her cage. Our hearts broke for Love. She is in desperate need of care, and the shelter volunteers are the only ones who can provide it while she waits to find her forever humans. Please, help us show Love some love.

Dogs like Love deserve to know the warmth and kindness of a loving family, and the shelter provides a life as close to this as possible while they await adoption. But the shelter is under huge strain, with sick dogs constantly being dumped at its door, and massive food and vet bills. And the bills just keep racking up.

Spanish winters can be cruel, and the dogs and cats need food more than ever during these frigid months. The donation you send today will ease the pressure on the sanctuary and give hope to all the 270 innocent dogs and cats there - so please donate generously right now.

For the animals,

P.S. We are trying hard to get the shelter stabilized and keep the animals healthy and happy. To achieve this, we must rush funds to treat and care for them. Your donation will help enormously. Please donate right now.
