We URGENTLY need another emergency animal ambulance! Please, help!

It will help save animals’ lives!

Pavlina Harasym, a vet who lives in Ukraine, bravely leaves her home every day to rescue abandoned refugee dogs and cats in the war zone. She takes them to her For Good sanctuary in Lviv, treats them and feeds them…

Then, one of our Polish partners, Dolnośląski Inspektorat Ochrony Zwierząt (DIOZ), crosses the border from Poland to evacuate Pavlina’s rescued animals and takes them to its shelter.

During each courageous trip, Pavlina is only able to pick up two or three animals. Even so, she has managed to rescue 200 abandoned pets.
She could rescue so many more if only she had an animal ambulance!

The war is getting ever closer to Lviv, and soon Pavlina might be cut off.

IT IS ABSOLUTELY VITAL WE GET AN AMBULANCE TO HER WITHOUT DELAY!

We are sourcing one as this is being written. Our aim is to get it to her ASAP! We have proved this is possible because we already bought one ambulance for another Polish partner, ADA Foundation, on the Poland/Ukraine border.

An ambulance is literally a life-saver. It means salvation for refugee animals, and in a worst-case scenario, if Pavlina must flee, she can take as many animals as possible with her and continue her work on the Polish border.

Refugees are so scared of being bombed or shot in their vehicles that they are now walking to the borders with their pets in their arms - sometimes it’s a FOUR-DAY walk to reach safety. There are cats being carried in backpacks, baskets, blankets and even plastic bags. There are dogs zipped up inside jackets and some, so old or disabled they’re unable to walk, being carried over their owners’ shoulders for hours or days at a time.

By the time the animals arrive at the borders, they are starving, dehydrated, terrified and exhausted. Some are near death’s door when rescuers treat them.

You can save the lives of Ukraine’s animals if you donate now to help us buy an animal ambulance for a brave vet. Our teams are there on the ground. Please stand with us as we fight for every animal life.

Time is running out because the Russians are CLOSING IN! We MUST save as many animals as possible before bomb blasts and airstrikes kill them!

If there is a chance to save refugee pets, we must take it. We cannot leave them to die on the street in a hail of Russian bullets or starve to death! We are the only sliver of hope they have. We must find the money for an ambulance.

For now, Pavlina is able to travel to find and collect animals, but for how much longer? If the Russians take Lviv, she will be forced to flee - and any animals left behind will be left to a horrible fate. We cannot let these desperate animals die - NOT if there is a way to help them.
