Zero needs a hero to cover long-term care that, for this lionhearted dog who has been cruelly neglected, is life or death.

He was abandoned at the Thai Animal Sanctuary, where thanks to generous donations like yours, they save, shelter, and find forever homes for the most gravely forsaken animals.

The need is massive at this remote sanctuary.

Animals arrive bearing such betrayal and pain. Abused to near-death, their battered bodies often need extensive surgery and treatment in order to save their lives.

Despite it all, they are the sweetest, friendliest animals! Zero is one of those brave friends who urgently needs your support today.

Imagine the shock of sanctuary staff when this suffering skeleton of a dog was brought in by his ‘owners’! They claimed Zero hadn’t eaten in two days. They lied! Zero was in the final stages of starvation.

Even if his owners had returned, they would NEVER have been allowed to take Zero. He’d been allowed to wither away to less than 20 pounds (9 kg)! His owners dumped him and fled.

Thanks to support like yours, staff leave no stone unturned when it comes to making sure rescued animals receive the veterinary care they deserve.

After a battery of tests, vets finally learned the truth about Zero.

He suffers from Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency, which basically means Zero’s pancreas won’t let his body digest food properly.

His symptoms, clearly ignored by his owners for FAR longer than two days, would have included diarrhea, weight loss, and constant hunger. Poor Zero!

To help this cuddly boy recover, the Thai Animal Sanctuary staff immediately put him on a special therapeutic diet four times a day. It’s working miracles!

But, Zero needs a hero. He’s not out of the woods yet. He may need a special enzyme supplement, plus steroids, for the rest of his life.

Without you, it will be so hard for staff to know the funding is there for Zero. He’s still only 18 kilograms (less than 40 pounds), but in their hands he’s making real progress.

Please if you are able, give whatever you can to Network for Animals today. Together we’ll make sure Zero never has to go another day without proper care and love!

There’s one last thing you’re going to love about Zero. If you haven’t yet viewed the video we included at the top of this email, watch it all the way to the end.

Zero is so grateful to have every chance he is given, he sings! You can keep this gorgeous guy on the mend, with a full tummy and full heart, by giving now.

Please be as generous as you can, thank you.

For the animals,
