You may remember that a few months ago, we were looking for a home for a beautiful Greek homeless dog called Avra. Avra was a puppy when she was found badly injured is the street after being hit by a motorcycle. Our friends at Ghost Dogs of Aspropyrgos rescued her and provided medical care with our support.

Avra made a full recovery and her dream came true when Louise adopted her. Soon after, Avra made the journey from Greece to England and is now living in a warm, safe loving home with her new mom. Avra is enjoying lots of naps, cuddles on the sofa, and playing with her new toys. Although everything is still very new she has settled very well and loves going out for long walks across the fields with her friend Koko. We think Avra and Louise make a great team and are so happy that Avra found the love and care she so very much deserves.

If you are interested in providing a home for a rescue dog like Avra, please get in touch. You can see the dogs on our adoption pages. If you are unable to adopt  a dog right now, remember we are also looking for temporary foster homes for our pups.

Get in touch if you would like to give a rescue dog another chance at life this Christmas or make a donation towards our dog programmes here.
