Using responses from our supporters, Tweets and working lists on social media, we’ve put together a list of MPs who have responded to requests to find out about their stance on the forthcoming English badger cull. If you do not see your MP on this list, please get in touch with them using our action page and ask them to clarify whether they support the Coalition on the badger cull and whether they would be willing to attend a debate on this issue. If they are a supporter of the cull, think about highlighting your concerns regarding their position and bring the scientific evidence and huge public opposition to their attention. Many MPs will not have a pre-existing interest in animal welfare, therefore it’s up to constituents to ensure they know this is a matter of huge public interest. If they are against the cull, make sure you take the time to thank them for taking a positive stance on animals!
