Typhoon Koppu has wreaked havoc on the northern Philippines, with half a million people forced from their homes, and an incalculable number of animal victims.

Our team have reached Bulacan, the area hardest hit by the typhoon, and an area where up to 50% of hospital visitors are currently experiencing dengue fever. The evacuation centre has become home to 270 families.

The main challenge we face is flooding. Distributing supplies is extremely difficult. We have so far provided 250 kilos of rice, 60 kilos of dog food, and are assisting animals wherever possible, but we need to do much, much more.

Animal victims are so often neglected in desperate times. Please make an urgently needed donation to assist our team on the ground, and check back for further updates on progress.
