Back in March, NFA spoke with Dr Paul Monaghan of the SNP about the Early Day Motion (EDM) he had raised in parliament concerning the badger cull.

We are pleased to report that on 7th September at 4.30pm, MPs will gather to debate the concerns raised in Dr Monaghan’s EDM- namely that the justification for the badger cull is not backed up by science, it is costing the public millions of pounds, and moreover is not helping farmers deal with the problem of bTB in their herds.

It is vital that as many MPs turn up to debate this issue as possible. If you haven’t done so already, please contact your MP and ask that they attend this debate and explain why it so important to you.
