She was a tiny pup, helpless and alone.

  • March 31, 2017
  • Thailand

Dumped under the cover of darkness, Cracotte was a frightened puppy, left in agony from an angry, gaping wound. Sometimes it is impossible to know an abandoned dog’s past, but without your support we can all too easily predict their future.

The remote area of Thailand where Cracotte was rescued is just hours from the dog-meat eating countries of China and Vietnam. With more than 100,000 Thai dogs and puppies estimated homeless and in danger of export for the dog meat trade, Cracotte could so easily have become another statistic.

In the Philippines, caring supporters like you funded our historic push for new laws and tough enforcement against the brutal dog meat trade. It’s a model for success in global animal advocacy that NFA need your help to repeat for Thailand’s homeless animals. Your donation today will fight for dogs on all fronts.

Cracotte is now well on the way to recovery with our partners at Thai Animal Sanctuary, where a donation of any size will work wonders.

Little Cracotte doesn’t know about the dangers her friends on the street face today. The abuses they still endure. The tiny distance they stand from a bloody and loveless end. All she knows is the safety we are providing.

She was a tiny pup, helpless and alone. 1

Please make a donation today to help us care for Cracotte, and to fight until all of Thailand’s dogs are free from the grasp of the dog meat trade.
