Signs of Hope for Pepe the Dog from Jordan

  • November 20, 2020
  • News

Last week, we told you about Pepe, the dog that was dragged behind a car as a sick form of punishment. Pepe was in shock and suffering from severe injuries. We were not sure if he would make it.

We are happy to report that, thanks to the help from Network for Animals’ supporters, we were able to give Pepe the best round-the-clock medical care possible under challenging circumstances.

Pepe has significantly improved, and his wounds are healing. He has started to eat his food on his own, and yesterday we had a significant breakthrough! Pepe sat up on his own, gave a smile, and proceeded to eat a big bowl of his food.

But his battle is far from over, since Pepe is still unable to stand up. His road to recovery is still ongoing, and he will still need care, love and close monitoring. Pepe is one very lucky dog, and we want to thank our supporters, and the good people at Al Rabee, for giving Pepe a second chance at life.

Please continue to help Pepe get back on his paws again by supporting his recovery.

It is only with your donations that dogs like Pepe find the right care and a better future.
We hope that Pepe will be a small victory in the horrendous battle against cruelty to street dogs in Jordan.
