How could anyone ever beat a dog?
As long as I live, I will never understand.
But poor Spotter WAS beaten, and badly. By the very people who supposedly cared about him!
He must have been so hurt. So confused. Never knowing what he’d done to prompt the next beating… longing for a kind word and love, receiving only bruises in return.
Spotter needs you. Will you give today so the Thai Animal Sanctuary can rescue and care for animal friends like him? The sanctuary isn’t large but it is doing such important work. Even $15, $25, or $35 from you today will be a lifeline.

Maybe he grew too big, too goofy, or too affectionate. Every “reason” is wrong, and none of us at Network for Animals will ever know why Spotter had to suffer.
Abuse like this breaks our hearts every day. I know it’s the same for you.
But there is something you and I can do.
Many dogs and cats near the Thai Animal Sanctuary have been abused or left to the streets their entire lives. The sanctuary’s sole mission is to give them a better tomorrow.
These animal friends desperately need rescue and safe haven, like Spotter. Many are hurt and need veterinary care. Virtually all need vaccinations and spay/neuter.
If you can help even a little now, it isn’t a stretch to say you will save an animal’s life. When some dogs and cats come in they are literally being neglected to death!
Please Give Thai Dogs Like Spotter the Love They Never Had
Urgent help for organizations like the Thai Animal Sanctuary is just one way your generous donations reach around the world to change the face of animal welfare through Network for Animals. I can’t thank you enough for that.
Criminals take full advantage of this impoverished region in northwest Thailand to steal strays away for violent deaths in the dog and cat meat markets of Vietnam and China.
For a sweet and friendly dog like Spotter to be left on his own, I shudder to imagine.
With your help, Network for Animals will support more care at the Thai Animal Sanctuary. With your help we will work to effect legislation and enforcement that will end dog meat trafficking and the trade itself, like the victories you brought about in the Philippines.
Please give as generously as you can for our Thai animal friends like Spotter. Your kindness now will truly reach around the world to save a life.
Thank you in advance for whatever you can send.

P.S. We think Spotter was born around 2014. This would make him only three years old. Thanks to our partners at the Thai Animal Sanctuary he was rescued, treated – and is now awaiting a happy forever home.
Network for Animals is committed to helping as many animals as possible! By giving today to help fund our microgrant for the Thai Animal Sanctuary you will give more dogs (and cats) like Spotter a second chance at a happy peaceful life.
