Since 1998, Network for Animals has worked in partnership with local Philippines animal protection organisations, leading the fight to end the brutal dog meat trade in the Philippines. Thousands of dogs, many of them stolen pets, are rounded up and slaughtered every year in barbaric conditions, many suffering so intensely that they die of heat exhaustion or asphyxiation before making it to the slaughterhouse.

Play your part in stopping this brutal trade by hitting the Philippines administration where you can hurt them: Their tourism industry. Tourism represents just 6% of the Philippines economy, but this is a percentage that their administration is investing heavily in, and which they know the torture of innocent dogs can only harm.
