Network for Animals is an international animal welfare charity that helps animals in some 26 countries. We often work in difficult situations where animals need the most help.
We advise, build, help run and provide financial and logistical support for animal shelters and animal welfare initiatives. Importantly we raise public awareness about animal issues.
Dogs, cats, horses and donkeys are among the animals who benefit from the work we do with the help of our more than 1,4 million supporters, all over the world.
Charity status
In the UK, Network for Animals Limited (NFAL) is registered as a not-for-profit organisation; this is the entity that will receive your donations. NFAL is a not-for-profit company but is not a charity. Network for Animals Charitable Trust (NFACT) (registered charity number 1142700) is a charity that is also part of the NFA Group and operates to support charitable projects through legacy donations. If you wish to leave NFACT a legacy as a charitable donation, you should make your wishes known to NFACT for your estate to receive tax benefits at [email protected] or legacy@nfacharitabletrust.
Network for Animals is a registered charity in the United States under the name Network for Animals USA, Inc. It is an IRS-designated 501(c)(3) charitable organization (tax ID# 47-1431869), donations made to it are tax-deductible to the full extent provided by law.
Network for Animals USA has been awarded a Four-Star Rating by Charity Navigator, the highest possible rating from the nation’s largest and most trusted nonprofit evaluator.
We have also earned the Platinum Transparency Seal from Candid (formerly Guidestar), a leading source of nonprofit data and transparency. This is the highest level of recognition that the platform offers.
In South Africa, NFA is registered as a tax-exempt, charitable institution, any donations made by South African tax payers are tax deductible. Tax exemption reference number is 9300073625.
