The Australian bushfires have been horrific and apocalyptic enough. And they continue. NFA is on the ground doing all that we can.
Now, Taal volcano in the Philippines is creating another hellscape for animals, including roiling, deadly ash clouds. We URGENTLY need your help today to reach them!
The crisis has been worsening since Monday, when Taal – one of the world’s most dangerous volcanoes – began to belch molten ash, steam, lightning, and rocks up to TEN MILES into the atmosphere!
The ash cloud is now speeding across the landscape, descending on everything in its path. It is choking out life and daylight in what’s been called an “ominous darkness.”
Our staff is based in Manila (100 miles away) and ash is already coming down there. The Manila airport has been closed. Most Manila schools and offices are closed too.
But already our team is en route to begin their assessment and provide immediate assistance.
We are seeing scenes of animals (and people) wandering through the ash. Dazed. Exhausted. Left behind as people evacuate. Or separated from their families who love them.
How terrified they must be!
In one news story, an evacuee reported “ash up to our knees.”
Please, whatever you can afford... whatever feels generous... these sweet faces, their little bodies caked with heavy ash as they search for water and food and a friendly face... they need you.
We need you.
Rush your generous gift now to save helpless animals caught in Taal’s path. Please. Together we WILL fight with all our strength to lift them from the ashes!
Thank you, today and always, for whatever you can give. We’d be lost without you.
For the animals,
Brian and Gloria Davies (and Max and Flora!)

P.S. In addition to food, fresh water and emergency medical supplies for the animals, our team is frantically sourcing masks as they continue down the roads near the angry Taal volcano. The masks will help protect them and others from the swirling, toxic ash clouds, which contain tiny shards of glass, as they fight to save animals with your help. Please, before there is a full volcanic eruption, rush your donation to help. We’ll keep you posted the instant we know more and thank you so much for caring!
