We share the world’s sadness at the destruction of the historic Notre Dame cathedral in Paris and are glad that so much money has been raised to restore it - more than $1 billion at the last count and rising by the hour.
But… we can’t help but lament that while all that money will be spent repairing bricks and mortar, countless animals all over the world will continue to suffer horrific abuse.
Please, show that you care just as much for poor, cruelly treated, homeless dogs as you do about a building. Donate today to Network for Animals and our work caring for street dogs.
Right now, we support animal shelters, provide food and medical care and finance search and rescue missions for abused animals in South Africa, Kenya, Italy, Croatia, Thailand, the Philippines, Montenegro, Jordan, Greece and Malta.
We deal with tragedies every day that inflict unspeakable cruelty to animals – dogs tortured for ‘fun’, dogs mown down or used as rifle targets by joy-riding drivers for ‘fun,’ dogs who starve for want of a bag of food, dogs beaten to death and then cooked and served for human’s lunch.
It may sound incredible, but every word is true. And your donation can help change that. By showing that you care more for animals than buildings you will help give countless animals better lives.
Please we love the beauty of ancient cathedrals, but our hearts lift to greater heights when we save an animal from despair. Please, in the spirit of love and compassion that Notre Dame represents, find it in your heart to donate generously to Network for Animals today.
For the animals,

P.S. As this was being written the amount of money raised to repair Notre Dame has risen to even MORE than $1 billion. Please, can you find it in your heart to show you care just as much about animals by making a donation to help them today?
