We have worrying news…

Our long-time partner shelter in South Africa, Fallen Angels, has been evicted because of safety regulation concerns at a nearby nuclear power station. The authorities have given them just 90 days to move 350 dogs and cats.

We have 90 DAYS to relocate 350 dogs and cats – or they will be euthanized.

This is a DEATH SENTENCE  for the animals who call Fallen Angels home, and we DESPERATELY need your help!

The authorities have denied Fallen Angels the special consent permit needed to remain where they are.

After receiving the ruling, our team scrambled to find a new home for the animals. We have found an ideal piece of land, but it is currently little more than a vacant lot with no shelter at all for the animals.

We are now rushing to build essential infrastructure, while preparing for the massive task of moving all 350 animals to the new property.

Without your support, the animals will face certain death. We CANNOT allow this to happen.

Fallen Angels is one of the largest no-kill animal shelters in the Western Cape and has been a lifeline and home for abused, abandoned, sick and injured dogs and cats who have had nowhere else to go.

With every other animal shelter at full capacity, our ONLY option is to move the animals. But we desperately need your support to make it happen

The most critical need is to secure the new land with perimeter fencing and provide foster homes with enough food to care for the cats and dogs who desperately need a temporary place of safety, love and care.

Without your help, these Fallen Angels face an uncertain and heartbreaking future. If we can raise $20,000 (approximately £15,800), we can ensure they are protected, fed and loved during this critical time. These animals have already endured so much – please, we must not let them down when they need us the most.

For the past nine years, we have supported Fallen Angels’  brave group of women who risk their lives to venture into dangerous, gang-controlled areas to rescue animals and give them food, shelter and care.

Time is running out and Fallen Angels’ 350 animals need you, now more than ever.

After being rescued from horrific suffering, Fallen Angels is the only home these animals know – and now, it is being taken away. The clock is ticking fast! We MUST act now to help move the animals and rebuild the new shelter before it is too late.

These are the same animals we have fought for over the years, thanks to YOU. Animals we have rescued, fed, treated and cared for. We cannot turn our back on them in their greatest, most desperate hour of need.
