Today, we are reaching out with a desperate plea to cat lovers.
Our partner in Poland, ADA Foundation, has completely run out of space for the abandoned cats pouring in from the Ukraine war!
These cats are terrified, starving and have lost their homes and their humans. They have been brought a long way - some have been traveling for days. Some may be pregnant, and others disabled or desperately ill. But, the awful reality is that they have nowhere to go. ADA Foundation is one of the only shelters in the entire area that takes cats, but it’s FULL - we must help them to provide extra space right away.
Help us to take action by donating today!
Donate todayWe know of 74 cats on their way right now, and that is the tip of the iceberg - HUNDREDS MORE WILL BE COMING.
Our partner caring for a sick cat
The journey from the war zones is slow, which gives us a little time, but we so badly need your help. If we can raise the funds, ADA Foundation will be able to rent emergency space for the new arrivals and set up and equip a clinic within as little as two days. There is an abandoned building perfect for a clinic. We need your help to create it.
We love cats and dogs, but so often cats take second place because they seem so independent that they can get by on their own, but even the most self-sufficient of cats can’t survive the missiles and bombs the Russians are using. Refugee cats must be rescued from Ukraine, and somehow we must take care of them when we get them over the border.
Cats are not second-class citizens! An emergency cattery must be set up, and we have just 48 hours to complete it!
The new cattery will be a place where cats will be safe, fed and warm. It will be a world away from the situation they’re currently in - frantically fighting for their lives as they scrounge for food and warmth, while bombs go off around them and terror rains from the sky.
If you donate right now, we promise to work 24 hours a day to get the cattery up and running by the time the cats complete the long, slow journey through the war zone to safety in Poland.

Donate todayThis is a DESPERATE PLEA to cat lovers. Please, help us save as many of them as we can.
The old, the sick, the pregnant and disabled - they WILL NOT SURVIVE without your help right now!
There are so many cats who have been left destitute by this tragedy. We wish we could save them all - and believe us, we are trying. No one anticipated the sheer volume of animals pouring into shelters!
The war has raged for nearly two weeks. Some cats have been alone, unfed and homeless all that time. Cats who were once loved - cats who once slept in warm beds and had bowls full of food and fresh water.
It is said that “cats have 9 lives,” but in a war, a cat has only 1! We and animal lovers like you are the only hope they have.
For the animals,

P.S. We hope that when their wounds have healed and they’re once again in a warm and loving home, the cats will forget the terrible trauma they experienced. But that day is a long way off - it’s a brutal war out there, and they are vulnerable and alone. Please, donate now towards their emergency care and shelter. You WILL change a cat’s life with a donation right now.
