We have to bring you frightening news – a serial killer is stalking cats on the Greek island of Kefalonia! We URGENTLY need your help!

In 12 months, at least 54 cats have been systematically murdered by a faceless monster and the authorities say they are helpless.

The victims are not unwanted street cats. Fiskardo is a place where most people love and care for street cats. No, this is something very sinister indeed. These cats were targeted by someone who enjoys killing, indeed even worse, enjoys mass killing and taunting authorities.

A true serial killer!

Last year, 14 cats slowly disappeared, vanishing week-by-week, almost as if the killer was challenging authorities to catch him and savoring the anguish of cat-lovers.

It gets worse…

Network for Animals has been helping in the area for the last three years, financing feeding, medical and sterilization programs. No street cat goes hungry in Fiskardo.

Two weeks ago, NFA sterilized 12 street cats and clearly marked them as such. Then the cats were given a celebratory feast in the village square near where they live. They started vanishing the next day; now, every single one of them has vanished. Only one body was found, presumably poisoned (which most likely resulted in a slow and excruciatingly painful death).

This photograph shows the cats at the feast. They had days to live!

One of those 200 people is a serial killer

The police are officially investigating because under Greek law this is a crime that carries a two-year jail sentence and heavy fines, but nothing has actually been done.

Our first priority is to protect the other cats living in the nearby forest who come to the village square to feed. By putting cameras where they feed, we will hopefully deter the killer. Please, help the cats survive by making a donation today.

We will not stop with deterrence! With your help, we will catch this criminal and see that he or she goes to jail!

Please, we just can’t stand by and accept this disgusting behavior. We promise we will do our best, but we can’t do it without you. Please make the most generous donation you can right now.

For the animals,

P.S. One of the saddest things about this terrible situation is that the local cats are used to people being nice to them. They probably went willingly to whoever it is, expecting a treat, but instead got a horrible death. Please help us stop this horror by donating right away.
