Burnt, terrified and in pain!

THIS IS WHY Network for Animals exists! Your help is urgently needed!

These photos show a minuscule fraction of the astronomical tragedy animals are facing RIGHT NOW during Australia’s catastrophic bush fires. Burnt, terrified and in pain, a baby wallaby seeks comfort from his mother and a caring human.

At least 7.5 million acres (an area larger than nine of the US’ states and nearly a quarter the size of all of England!) have been burned in New South Wales. As many as HALF BILLION mammals, birds and reptiles have been affected. Many animals who survive will die later because of a lack of food and water.

Network for Animals exists to help animals in situations like this around the world.

Sometimes, a picture is worth a thousand words. Sometimes, like now, hundreds of thousands of words. These images tell a harrowing story of death and destruction.

NFA is there in terrible situations like this all the time, fighting to save animals and end cruelty. Hurricanes in the US. Earthquakes in the Philippines. A nuclear reactor meltdown in Japan…
