Hurricane Milton unleashed destruction across Florida, leaving behind a trail of devastation that has shattered communities, claimed lives and displaced thousands. Among the hardest hit are the helpless animals, left stranded and frightened in the storm's aftermath.
150 animals must be evacuated from the hurricane disaster zone immediately.
The storm brought violent winds, life-threatening flooding and catastrophic storm surges, affecting coastal towns like Siesta Key and Sarasota as well as inland areas from Orlando to Jacksonville. Flash flooding remains a major concern in these regions, making rescue efforts and accessing disaster zones difficult but vitally important to save lives.
