The factory machinery of our primary source of pet food in Ukraine, Vetmarket Pluriton, has broken and can’t be repaired because of the war. To fill the gap, we are getting food from all over Europe, but prices are going sky high - just as the need for dog and cat food is growing. Every single hour, more and more animals are abandoned.

With the price of pet food rising so fast, your donation will buy a lot more food today than it will tomorrow. That’s why we need to stockpile now. Please donate if you possibly can.

The scale of animal abandonment in Ukraine is unimaginable. It is almost impossible to comprehend the number of dogs and cats forsaken as a terrible situation turns CATASTROPHIC!

They have no one - only us, and you!
Please, HELP!

These dogs and cats are starving alone, they’re helpless, and without people like you, they WILL die. We MUST NOT let this happen!

We must get food for animals who have lost their owners and their homes. There is NOT A MOMENT TO LOSE - they are starving, even as you read these words!

If the Russians let people flee from cities, the situation for animals will get even worse. Some people will take their pets, but many more will have to leave their animals behind. These pets will be left to fend for themselves on the war-ravaged streets, to starve or be shot and shelled to death.

We must stockpile dog and cat food for the dark days that lie ahead! Death by starvation is NOT on our agenda for the animals of Ukraine!

We face enormous challenges in getting food to the animals because the need is greatest where the fighting is heaviest. We rely on brave volunteers to dash in when it’s “safe” (it is never really safe), and as the fighting intensifies, those opportunities become rarer.

Our plan is to store the food in Lviv, which has thus far been spared any direct attacks by Russia. If we can stockpile food there, we can help a lot of animals!

We are scouring Europe for pet food and doing everything in our power to get it to Ukraine. We WILL NOT GIVE UP! Please, continue to stand with us for the animals!

Nick Warwick, a volunteer from England, managed to find pet food in Dresden, Germany, piled his truck and trailer with as much as he could, and rushed it to our team at the Polish border with Ukraine. That food is on its way to the animals of Ukraine NOW! Thank you, Nick!

Please, if you want to help animals in Ukraine, the most efficient way is to send a donation for pet food right away.

We can’t wait because hunger won’t!

Your donation today will help to feed the stricken dog and cats of Ukraine tomorrow - or maybe even tonight. The more we can raise, the more food we can buy and the more animals we can help. That’s the bottom line.

One last word…

Our heartfelt thanks to the UK's SNIP International. After we paid for an animal ambulance to rescue abandoned creatures, we suddenly received a VAT (goods and services tax) bill of almost $2,600 (£2,000) which had to be paid immediately. SNIP International stepped in and paid the full amount, and on top of that, promised it will donate money for dog leashes and other essentials!

The generosity of people from all four corners of the globe in this unprecedented crisis for animals has brought tears to us all. Whether it’s a penny, a dollar or a pound, it makes more of an impact than you could ever know. So please, keep donating. It makes the world of difference to animals.

For the animals,

P.S. Please help today by sending the most generous donation you can. It could be your donation that makes the difference between life or death for an abandoned dog or cat.

P.P.S. This war is not ending soon. Animals face months, or maybe even years, of suffering - we must prepare for the long haul. To ensure we can continue our life-saving work in Ukraine, please consider signing up for a monthly donation. To do this, simply select the ‘Recurring donation’ option once you’ve indicated the amount you wish to donate.
