Wildfire disaster strikes again! In Greece, our teams are frantically trying to evacuate and save animals as 355 new wildfires burn out of control.
When disaster strikes, we are there. Whether it's funneling funds to our partners, sending animal experts, or equipping our teams on the ground with the tools they need, we always step up to help the animals.
It has been a disastrous week in Greece as 355 new wildfires ravage the country. These hellish infernos have countless animals trapped, desperately needing rescue and care. Right now, the animals need urgent help. It is a battle against time, and death is winning. multitudes of helpless, innocent creatures are in deadly peril. Trapped by these infernos, they are in desperate need, awaiting rescue. We are there as soon as firefighters quell the flames.
355 forest wildfires have erupted in less than five days. Greece’s Climate Crisis and Civil Protection Minister says more than 7,400 acres (3000 hectares) of precious forest, homes to countless animals have been consumed by the flames. The fires have now reached the national park on Mount Parnitha, one of the last green areas near Athens, the Greek capital, taking a vast toll on animal lives. Amid the charred remains, surviving animals face terror, isolation, and desperation. They are in dire need. At this critical moment, will you help us rush funds to take immediate action?
We must rush emergency aid to our evacuation partners on the ground!
Will you help us?
Our teams are there right now working with our partners, Alma Libre - Hellenic Animal Rescue (ALHAR), Corinthia Animal Rescue (CAR), and Make it Pawsible (MIP). They have been working around the clock to save as many lives as possible. They have already rescued over 600 dogs, cats, and farm animals. The anguish and desperation of these animals is hard to put into words, they are all traumatized, terrified and in need of urgent attention…
Your contribution will help us secure food, water, medical supplies, fire blankets, capture cages, fuel, and fire extinguishers. It also ensures that we continue to evacuate animals endangered by the raging wildfires. Your support can make a lifesaving impact on these distressed animals. Please act now to help save their lives!
We are on the ground, ready to act, ready to save lives, but we can't do it alone.
For the animals,
