In celebration of World Animal Day, this year Network for Animals partnered with the Benguet State University and local veterinary offices in La Trinidad, Benguet, Philippines on a spay, neuter and vaccination campaign.
The Network for Animals team led by Mel Alipio, vaccinated more than 240 pets against rabies, spayed and neutered 46 dogs and cats, provided a free veterinary clinic to pet owners and participated in a blessing for pets who attended.
Veterinary students took part in the campaign, gaining hands-on practical experience and learning more about animal welfare issues.
None of this would have been possible without the generosity of Network for Animals' more than 750,000 supporters around the world.
